The frame is this style with the beautiful finish that is on the Wendt Silver Large. Spectacular hand carved, hand detailed richly antiqued Impressionistic frame. The finish has a subtle umber undertone that is rubbed through on the details and edges. This is a Two piece, masterfully constructed frame with the middle liner being a one piece routed panel that will never have corner separation. This beautiful frame is 1 3/4 wide and 1 3/4" in depth giving this frame a substantial appearance even at a larger 36" x 48" size. The rabbet depth is 1/2" deep but 3/4" to the back of he frame so it will easily accommodate a 3/4" stretcher bar canvas. A great frame for a matted watercolor or pastel.
